During the Covid- 19 era when people are getting used to the new normal, Tirpude
Institute of Management Education (TIME) Nagpur moved one step ahead to organize the first ever online Alumni Meet.
The institute emphasizes on keeping a constant
connect with its huge alumni base and the result is intense bonding that the institute has
maintained over the years. This was clearly palpable with the participation of alumni from
batches as early as 1997.
The meet was coordinated by various faculty members of the institute and the
participation was overwhelming with more than 800 alumni around the world participating in
this online meet. In all there were 24 batches of past students from MBA, BBA, BCCA &
Tirpude Institute of Applied & Retrospective Arts (TiARA) streams. The online nature
enabled a larger participation of alumni based in different parts of the world including those
from US, UK, Australia, Singapore and Dubai.
The online event was attended by Dr. Lalit Khullar, Director, Dr. Sanjay Kavishwar,
Dean-Academics, Dr. Praveen Mustoor, Chairman-Training & Placements, Dr. Yogesh
Gharpure, Coordinator-MBA, Prof. Carol Rao, Coordinator-BBA, Dr. Vilas Hajare,
Coordinator-BCCA and other faculty members of the institute. Faculty in-charge for the
event were Dr. Sridevi Jaiswal and Prof. Rohan Job.
