NAGPUR : Air Marshal CR Mohan AVSM VSM took over as Senior Maintenance Staff
Officer of HQ MC on 01 February 2022 from Air Marshal M Baladitya AVSM VSM.
Air Marshal CR Mohan AVSM VSM was commissioned as an Aeronautical
Engineer in the Indian Air Force in Aug 1986. He is an alumnus of the College of
Defence Management, and Experimental Flight Test School (ASTE, IAF) IIT Mumbai
and Tyagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai Kamaraj University.
In his distinguished career spanning more than three decades, the Air Officer
has held various field and staff appointments. He was the lead engineer in the Indian
Air Force Hawk Project Team (IAFHPT) in UK responsible for the design,
development, testing, manufacture and entry into service of the Hawk AJT aircraft.
He has tenated the appointments of the Chief Engineering Officer at a Hawk base,
DS at CDM, Comdt of AFTC, ACAS (Eng T & H) & Eng B at Air HQ. He also served
as SMSO at HQ EAC.
The Air Officer is a recipient of the Chief of Air Staff commendation and the
Presidential Awards of VSM & AVSM.
